About

Babak Bryan AIA is an award-winning architect based in Charleston, South Carolina. The firm's expertise includes residential new construction and residential renovation, multi-family housing, restaurant design, retail experience, and institutional and commercial offices. Prior to forming the firm, Babak was a co-principal at BanG studio, an exceptionally recognized New York City design firm, and COA, an architectural thinking collaborative.

Babak has a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and brings in-depth knowledge of both fields to his design work. He is licensed to practice in North and South Carolina, Georgia, New York, Kansas, Missouri, Florida, Tennessee & Louisiana, and has NCARB and LEED accreditations. In addition to his architecture practice, Babak has taught at several schools in the Northeast including the University of Pennsylvania, the Pratt Institute, and Columbia University.
